Track Name: Coma Slumber
Leaves crack under my feet. Walking hand in hand with myself. Because the hands I imagined didn’t feel like contributing. So around the blocks I go. With a scarf draped under my mouth. Keeping out the brisk breeze. Disconnect from everything. Yet wireless signals shoot through me. The phone book ripped out my page. Feel connected to the soil. Feel connected to God this way. People can only look at me in the eyes this way. And if the phone doesn’t ring. I’ll sit on my bed and think the hours away. Give me a brother. Give me the one today. Machines are how people spend their day. We’re all connected but in such a bullshit way. Not gonna be young forever and listen to midwest emo all day. But that’s all right. Things are changing and I can’t keep up. The globe’s always spinning. Time’s always changing my face.
Track Name: Thayer Street
Staying ahead of the weather with 10,000 IUs of vitamin D. Frostbit fingertips, my mind's in a haze, sunk 20,000 leagues under the sea. Trading space heaters to head south, shake the things. Shake all the things that are shivering. Pennies under our feet pay the toll, another IOU from you and from me.

My fingertips touch my skin. The whorl lets me know that I'm innocent.

Last time I didn't feel this way. I knew it would leave, but I begged it to stay. And I already miss snowballs parting second story drapes. Didn't mind greeting garbage trucks, late with balance sheets, blow drying socks. And now I really wouldn't have it any other way. Cause soon we'll be asking how many sugars in the morning. It's sweet but it's sour and I'll pretend this didn't come with some sort of warning.

My fingertips touch my skin. The whorl lets me know that I'm innocent.

It’s too easy to always romanticize,
Took so long to write my favorite lines.
Pressure to the wound,
My hands are locked in time.
Realized it’s a game,
And I lose every time.

The schedule on the fridge,
The jumbled sentences we formed.
And enough as it is,
To feel the cold of the kitchen floor.
I though I saw it leave for the last time,
And maybe it is.
I took a walk around the blocks to find some peace of mind,
It didn’t feel the same, even as I tried.

I left a song on your machine,
The words I couldn’t find.
I made them up,
It was enough to pass the time.
Pockets full of mystique and ticket stubs,
We’re on the run, we’re on the run, we’re on the run.
And this coolant leaking, it makes me feel so warm.
And if we’re leaving now, where do we go?

My lips were cut and blistered shut,
When we were all there.
Go on take care, Go on take care, Go on take care,
When we were all there.
